[INTENDED USE]

This product is used for in vitro qualitative detection of respiratory syncytial

virus antigen nasopharyngeal swab and oropharyngeal swab samples.

 

[SUMMARY]

According to the gold immunochromatographicas test principle, double

antibody sandwich method was used to detect respiratory syncytial virus

antigen in the samples.

When the antigen is contained in the sample, the antigen binds with the

corresponding gold standard monoclonal antibody and the coated monoclonal

antibody at the detection line to form a compound and then condenses into a

red band, indicating a positive result. When there is no antigen in the sample,

complex cannot be formed at the detection line, and no red band is shown,

indicating negative result.

No matter whether the sample contains antigen or not, the gold monoclonal

antibody will bind to the enveloped antibody at the quality control line, form a

Positive: *Two lines appear. One colored line should be in the control

region (C), and another apparent colored line adjacent should be in the test

region (T).

Negative: One colored line appears in the control region (C). No line

appears in the test region (T).

Invalid: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or

incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line

failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test using a new test cassette.

If the problem persists, discontinue using the lot immediately and contact
